About Ruth Burry Lic (Acup) BSc (Hons) MBAcC

I trained full-time for four years at the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) in East Grinstead. The College is internationally renowned for its philosophical and practical application of the Stems and Branches theory (Classical Taoist acupuncture), where it is taught alongside Five Elements theory and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Practitioners trained in this combined approach can work in greater depth and breadth than achieved with more conventional acupuncture techniques.

I have many years’ experience of successfully helping people with a variety of health issues, including but not limited to:- allergies, gastrointestinal problems, anxiety, depression, pain management, male and female infertility, support during IVF and pregnancy, headaches and migraines, period problems and menopause support.

I have been a member of the British Acupuncture Council since 2002.

Further Information

Patients may not feel ’cured’ or even much different after their first session; this does not mean that the acupuncture is not effective.
It really is necessary to commit to a few regular appointments. Acupuncture works best when used as a course of 4-6 treatments.
Many patients return to acupuncture over and over again because they enjoy the benefits so much, so it is worth it!
